Street Life: A Tribute to The Crusaders feat. Mike Tomaro, Reggie Watkins, & Stevee Wellons

Mike, Reggie and company pay tribute to this seminal group, performing music from its earlier straight-ahead days as the Jazz Crusaders, through their later commercial R&B and Funk success as the Crusaders. The show will highlight instrumental hits as well as hit songs from their studio collaborations with vocalists such as Randy Crawford, Tina Turner, Bobby Womack, B.B King and Nancy Wilson.

Featured performers are Mike Tomaro – saxophone and arranger; Reggie Watkins – trombone; Alex Price – guitar; Michael Bernabe – keyboard; Denzel Chismar-Oliver – electric bass; Jason Washington, Jr. – drums and special guest vocalist Stevie Wellons.
