With elements of blues, jazz, funk and rock & roll, Norside Organ Trio is out to honor the great American tradition of the organ trio sound while forging their own creative space in the music. The band defines their sound as “Rust Belt Funk”, a phrase that gives homage to their Western PA roots. They have seen great success in their short time together, sharing the stage with the Soul Rebels Brass Band, Chris Cain, Steeltown Horns, and playing sold out shows at local venues around the greater Pittsburgh region. Norside is Skip Sanders (Hammond Organ), Steve Ippolito (Drums), and Glenn Strother (guitar).
