On Saturday, November 1st, 8PM, at the Original Pittsburgh Winery in the Strip District, a group of activist Pittsburgh musicians, artists and supporters, will host a concert to raise critical funds for relief efforts of the World Central Kitchen in Gaza. One hundred percent of donations will go directly to famine relief.

Of course, we support the Jewish community around the world and decry anti-Semitism. We want peace for everyone. While, we were appalled by the Hamas attack of Oct 7, 2023, Israel’s government military response has been horrendously disproportionate with the support of our tax dollars. We have rarely seen, broadcast to the world, a situation where a group of people are systemically caged, targeted, abused, starved, and prevented from setting down their roots and raising their families on their own ancestral lands. There are now famine conditions on the ground and those who study such matters have recently declared it a genocide.

The need for support for World Central Kitchen for Gaza is imperative. While there are so many good causes to support, the children and women in Gaza are especially vulnerable in the midst of the perilous war zone, in which the Israeli military continue to strike. The volunteers and staff of World Central Kitchen for Gaza put their lives on the line every day with the worry of bombs dropping overhead.

In the long run, we want peace. On Saturday, November 1st, we want to show our support to help feed the people of Gaza now.

We’re honored to feature an incredible lineup of performers, including:
Bill Toms – Phat Man Dee – Andre Costello – Liz McBride – Mark Dignam – Kelsey Jumper – Lauren DeMichiei – David Dickinson – Abbey Martin – Art Donsky
