FEELS LIKE SUMMER is the second installment of a new music series collaboration between the Equity | Impact Center’s SCALE Fellowship program and The Original Pittsburgh Winery. This series is designed to amplify the SCALE Fellowship alumni and raise funds for the SCALE Fellowship program, featuring curated performances through an event experience that combines artistry, storytelling, and community connection. Anyah Nancy (@anyahnancy) is an American Jazz singer/songwriter renowned for her soulful and rich tone. Born in Pittsburgh, PA, and nurtured in the church, her voice carries the profound influence of iconic vocalists like Nina Simone and Billie Holiday. Together with her band, Anyah masterfully blends traditional Black Jazz with modern Soul and R&B, creating a sound that is both timeless and contemporary. Anyah is an alumna of the 2023 SCALE Fellowship Program.
Lailonny Morris (@iamlailonny) is a singer and songwriter who inspires collective healing through the power of music. Lailonny uses music as her safe space, allowing her to be vulnerable and share her feelings and life experiences through songwriting. Lailonny wants people to feel free to just BE and embrace their true selves through her music. Lailonny attributes the start of her music career to the SCALE Fellowship program and has since gone on to perform at notable events like SCALE Live at the Roxian Theatre and FirstNightPGH 2025 LIVE with FRZY. Her dual focus on music and entrepreneurship highlights her innovative approach to building a sustainable career in the arts. Lailonny is an alumna of the 2022 and 2024 SCALE Fellowship and 2023 Intervals Arts Accelerator.

About the SCALE Fellowship
The SCALE Fellowship advances Black women in music by providing learning and resources to improve entrepreneurial acumen and advance creative careers. The SCALE program equips artists with the resources and support necessary to build sustainable careers and overcome challenges unique to Black artists while providing a framework for a music ecosystem that connects and advances musicians in our region.
